APC: Alternative PHP Cache:Its goal is to provide a free, open, and robust framework for caching and optimizing PHP intermediate code.
To avoid the overhead of parsing and compiling the code every time pages are loaded.
** This is no distributed cache
Memcache: is a general-purpose distributed memory caching system.
It is often used to speed up dynamic database-driven websites by caching data and objects in memory to reduce the number of times an external data source.
Memcached's APIs provide a giant hash table distributed across multiple machines. When the table is full, subsequent inserts cause older data to be purged in least recently used (LRU) order.
